WATER TAXIS AND ABRAS IN DUBAI One of the Emirates’ most remarkable draws is the boat ride across Dubai’s creek. The city has become so jammed that there is an immense need for some other comfortable trip. Water taxis carry you to your desired location through a scenic route. My mood fluctuates with traffic, and I am sure many face the same; the clearer the path, the satisfied the mind and words developing in there. The more the traffic, the harder it gets to maintain your calm and composed self. However, presently the water taxis are available, everything nearby feels peaceful. These are about 11 meters long and 4 meters wide and the construction design is entirely different than other conventional boats. Humans are the most intelligent of all animal species when they face congestion in road and sky; they opt for waterways. Transportation through water has been discovered long back to travel to other parts. Previously boats, ships, and steamers used to flow through the water bodies, and now taxis are also giving them competition. When it comes to Dubai’s ‘water taxis’ then the service of these infants are spellbound and beneficial for the engagements of the tourists.’ They even have the capability of accommodating needs like wheelchairs for the disabled ones. Like I said earlier, as a resident of Dubai I hate rubbing shoulders with people around me, how can Dubai expect the tourists to feel comfortable with that? Of course, the tourists hate it, too. This is why water taxis are the real saviours. Moreover, the ride is private, and the privacy of the tourists is also respected on the taxi. The water taxis are also extremely flexible when it comes to timing and location. You can stand at literally any station in Dubai and give them a call. They will pick you up as soon as possible. Now there are a variety of rides one can enjoy on the water. My personal favorite is the Abras. Abras is one of the famous water vehicles in Dubai. It needs manual-rowing on the boat which has side layers pitched with asphalt. There are several advantages of Abras. It needs only 5 to 7 minutes to reach the destination, so you don’t have to leave your place an hour early to avoid traffic. Traditional Abras’ have a grace of its own and has been in existence since 1700 while Abras with the motor was the latest invention. Of course, the motorized ones run faster and quickly devote you on your path. It doesn’t matter when you have to use the motorized ones to get to your destination. They are open 24/7 for your comfort. However, if you are a convention lover and want to savour the pleasure of the traditional Abras, then you have to jump on board in the morning because after that these get closed. Also, they could be found either at the Library station or Creek Park station. According to motorized Abras, they meet Deira and Bur Dubai and are accessible all over Dubai Creek. Then there are electrical abras. This undoubtedly surpasses all other rides when it comes to comfort and luxury. Tourists habitually prefer electrical abras for traveling as it provides with all the facilities to keep the riders refreshed and entertained. The abras even execute performances onboard. Besides the tour of the entire creek, these electrical Abras take people to Burj Lake. Burj Lake has a special fascination that grabs people’s breath away. If you are not aware of the scenic beauty, you have no idea what you have missed. Amid Downtown Dubai, World’s second largest fountain has been built. This fountain is a choreographed fountain built on the Burj Lake. Many tourists mainly ride on the electrical abras to enjoy the view of the breathtaking fountain. Water taxis exist to satisfy all the needs of the rider. Whether one plans for a private ride to the location or a trip around the city, their desire will be entertained with the outstanding service possible. The authorities guarantee safety. All these will bound you to try Dubai’s water taxis, as if one misses this ride, they are surely going to lose a lot.
